A small collection of pieces in response to the ArtistsWorkhouse building when it was a needlemaking factory in Victorian Britain and the special folk who worked in this industry. Exhibited with ArtistsWorkhouse and Prism textile group in Studley, Birmingham and London in 2017.
Celebrating the needle making industry; the physical making and quantities of needles produced, and the men, women and children that made them - ‘the needle ticklers’. Seeing needles in a new light.
